Mr Chiu has a specialist interest in facial deformity, facial trauma and reconstruction. He is one of the Chief Investigators for the Saving Faces research charity and is an Associate Editor for the British Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Geoff is based at Royal Blackburn Hospital and Royal Bolton Hospital. He will be attending Colne Dental Care to hold private clinics.
Mr Chiu studied Dentistry at the University of Manchester obtaining a BDS in 1997. He was awarded the MFDS from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1999. He went onto study Medicine at Leeds University qualifying with a MB ChB in 2003. The MRCS was awarded in 2005. Specialty surgical training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery was undertaken in the North West of England. During his training, he obtained a Post Graduate Certificate in Medical Education (PGCert MedEd) from the University of Dundee in 2009 and a Masters in Surgical Science from the University of Oxford in 2012.
